Come Learn More About the Luxembourg American Cultural Society & Center The Luxembourg American Cultural Society & Center based in Wisconsin, USA, cordially invites members of the general public to attend an upcoming informational presentation about the Cultural Society and Center. A six member, American leadership team from the Center including Richard Witry, President of the Society, Kevin Wester, Executive Director, and Board Members Mike Ansay, David Perrott, Edward Zapp, and Linda Heinz will be making the presentation. All are welcome to attend and learn more and ask questions about the Society and Center. 1944 - 2009 65 Years of Liberty Night Vigil at Mon. Schumann, Wiltz, Luxembourg DO YOU REMEMBER ? Yes, we still DO REMEMBER. We have not forgotten them ! This ceremony will be held by the “Friends of Patton’s 26th Infantry Division – Luxembourg” ASBL, supported by 36 municipalities. The commemoration is meant to remember all those brave American soldiers, who under the most adverse weather conditions lost their lives or health during the bitter struggle for our today's freedom and welfare. The death of boys, fathers and brothers for a liberty that is too often taken for granted today. This Night Vigil takes place on December 16, 2009 as of 19:00 hrs until the early morning of December 17 -- it is meant to recall all the suffering, frightening and death that war had brought to our beloved country. They gave their lives for us. What do they get from us ? You are welcome to attend. By your presence, which we depend on, you are paying tribute to all those fallen American soldiers.
